The Story
How LoveFlix came to be — a love letter to shared experiences.
LoveFlix was born from a simple realization: couples don't have a place of their own on the internet. Most platforms are built for one user, or for the whole world — but what about the space between two people?
The idea came during a late-night video call. A couple miles apart wanted to watch a movie together, share a Spotify playlist, drop a pin of their favourite coffee shop, and send a quick selfie — all without juggling five different apps. Every existing service was either public (social media), solo (Netflix), or cluttered with noise from everyone else.
So we built it. A private Netflix-style platform — intimate, beautiful, and just for two. No ads. No algorithms feeding you content from strangers. No friends-of-friends. No noise. Just the two of you, your media, your memories, and your world.
Every feature — from video streaming to the shared story timeline — was designed with one question in mind: "Does this bring couples closer together?" If the answer wasn't a resounding yes, it didn't make the cut.
